My interest in the human body and especially the mind-body connection led me to train as a Holistic Massage Therapist. I studied in Edinburgh at the School of Holistic Therapy in 2018. Our days would begin with lessons on anatomy, physiology and pathology and end beautifully giving and receiving massage. Whilst in Edinburgh I also studied myofascial release, the physiology of fascia, the issues fascia restrictions can cause and how to work with this fascinating connective tissue.

I am currently training with Jing, a Brighton based advanced massage training school and the only place in the UK to offer a degree level massage course. I am working towards becoming an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist and Sports Massage Therapist.

Swedish massage underpins my training, but I am experienced in pain relieving techniques and stress related conditions. Sessions at Wildwood always start with a conversation. I will listen to your needs before suggesting a bespoke approach to your treatment which may include alternative techniques including myofascial release, trigger point release, acupressure, mobilizations and stretches.

I am also an Aromatherapist. Aside from the wonderful aromas omitted, essential oils can help balance hormones, fight fatigue, relieve the symptoms of anxiety and depression and give the lymphatic system a boost. The combination of massage and essential oils on the nervous system is powerful and I love what they have brought to my practice.

I am lucky to have spent 2 years travelling around Asia where I made it my mission to try every type of massage the continent has to offer; Ayurvedic massage in India, Thai massage in Bangkok and the islands, Balinese massage in Indonesia and Acupressure on the China-Vietnam border. I got to experience massage in its original form in the birthplace of many different massage styles.

I created Wildwood because I am an advocate for healthy relaxation and practices that allow the mind and body to heal. Whether you’re experiencing stress, overwhelm, anxiety, depression, aches, pains, headaches, sleep issues or are just in need of some deep relaxation, I can help! I feel lucky to be able to show people how massage can help you heal.
